School Starts: Some Decorations in my Classroom

One of my favorite part of my job is decorating my classroom. It is where I could practice my artistry and think of ideas to make my classroom attractive to the eyes of my pupils. I want my pupils and myself to be inspired in working whenever we are inside the class.

These are some decorations that I made so far... I got some ideas from the internet and added some personal touches.

*The Welcome Note:

*Kindergarten:

*Prayers:

*Subject Charts and Posters:

I use felt paper in the borders. When coloring the posters, i use oil pastel, and crayons.

*Special Delivery:
It is were I pin the notes, letters, and memos for the day. Other important announcements can also be placed here.

*We Have Class Harmony!

A design that teaches the pupils good values and at the same time, lets them practice in reading.

*Class Officers and Birthday Corner:

This drawing was made in year 2008 and is being used until now. Pictures of pupils with the date of their birthdays are placed on the stars.

*Other designs:

And there you saw some of the decorations in my classroom. I Hope you like it! Please do tell me what you think.

'Till next time! ^_^

Andrew Philip - Fan Meets Idol ♥_♥

During the tragic bus hostage crisis in Quirino Grandstand, our country experienced negative criticisms and judgement. Everybody was feeling so down. It was that time that I "stumbled" on Andrew Philip's video on Youtube, defending the Filipinos.

I was so touched that a Canadian like him sympathizes with us. When I checked his channel, I found out that it wasn't the first time that he stood for us. He also defended us from Adam Carolla's rude remarks. I wanted to know more about him.

Then I watched his music videos and covers. He was trying to learn the Filipino language! He even had some covers of Tagalog songs.

I also learned that he stayed with a Filipino family in Canada that's why he knows some things about our culture. He also supported Venus Raj in the Ms. Universe Pageant 2010.

Then I decided to make a drawing of him... That is to thank him for his support and kindness.

I was so glad when he sent me a message, thanking me for that. I was very happy that he appreciated it.

It was October, 2010 when I learned that he will visit the Philippines to attend the Fashion Week. I was very excited, I wanted to meet him! But the date when he arrived (October 25, 2010) was the Election Day so I was not able to meet and greet him at the airport. I was so sad while viewing his pictures with his fans on Facebook.

I made another drawing and posted it on my Youtube channel:

Then my most kilig day arrived! October 30, I went to Mall of Asia to watch the Fashion Show and also to meet him. There I was able to see and meet Andrew, talk to him and take pictures with him! I felt I was the luckiest fan in the world! hehehe... ^_^

He signed one of my drawings and put some dedications on it.

I also met other fans of Andrew and joined Andrew Philip Council (APC).

Bonding with Andrew Philip doesn't end there, for I had known another side of Andrew as I attend APC Party and some social works. Andrew is not just a good-looking model and an awesome artist. He also has a heart for children and less-fortunate ones.

He stayed in the country for several months. And everytime there's an APC event, I tried to attend (with or without Andrew) for I had found new friends. I enjoyed their company and learned a lot from them.

APC Christmas/Videoke Party
When the day came that he had to return to his homeland, I felt sad. But as I thought of the good times I had with him and the APC, I felt better. I was lucky enough to meet and spend time with my idol and crush ♥_♥.
